Mallorca: a place to discover.

Mallorca: a place to discover.

Throughout the year, thousands of visitors arrive on the island, each with a different idea about how they are going to enjoy their well-deserved vacation.

Many will choose to stay in the city, visit its most emblematic places and discover an infinite number of leisure activities. Others will decide to stay on the coast so that they can wake up every morning feeling the Mediterranean breeze and refreshing themselves in the crystal-clear waters. And then there are those of you who are looking for an authentic experience, one that will bring you closer to the local gastronomy and those little corners that the people of the island enjoy, away from the hustle and bustle.

Dawn breaks and the sound of the birds heralds the beginning of a new day. You get out of bed, walk around and a delicious breakfast is waiting for you. At that very moment, you are aware that you are in the Mediterranean: toast with tomato and olive oil, natural orange juice, the smell of coffee… Now you are ready to start your day.

After that, a convertible jeep is waiting for you parked in the hotel car park, you get in and lying in the seats you discover a book, you open it and magic, a custom designed route through the interior of the island is waiting to be discovered.

The first stop is a hermitage located on a hill with spectacular views of the famous “pla de Mallorca”.

After discovering its history and taking some incredible photos, you head to the second stop… a Mallorcan possessió where the authentic and so well-known sobrassada is made. Miquel, the owner, is waiting for you to explain how they make their products, take a walk among their cereal plants and before you leave, taste some of their products, among which the traditional sobrassada, the curry sobrassada and the “butifarra” sobrassada with cheese stand out.

We continue the route having one last stop before lunch, the weekly market in one of the island’s villages. Walking around and discovering its variety of olives, breads, sausages and having a drink in the sun will be your only concern.

By the way, have you heard of the Cellers? They are traditional restaurants where you can taste local dishes and wines, and one in particular is waiting for you. We know that when you will see their menu, each one of the dishes will seem delicious, but we want to give you some advice, don’t leave without trying their “porcella”!

As you drive back to the hotel, you can’t stop talking about the day and asking yourself… What will tomorrow bring?

It’s not what, it’s how

Today it’s time to feel the sea breeze up close, so don’t forget to take your cream! You arrive at a small fishing port and a small boat, known here on the island as a llaüt (typical boat), is waiting for you. Sebas, its skipper, welcomes you on board and in a few moments makes you feel at home. We start engines and set course for small coves… Es pontàs, S’olla, Cala Mitjana… Sound familiar? A swim in crystal-clear water, a meal based on local products, feeling in paradise…

Endless emotions are waiting for you… Do you dare to live them?
