Formentera, the last paradise!

Formentera, the last paradise!

Formentera, the last paradise!

Paradise exists and is closer than you think. The good weather all year round and its incredible landscapes are reason enough to set off to discover the island.

Due to its small size, it can only be accessible by sea. Although this is the only option, there are a thousand ways to do it.

The cheapest way to travel is by regular ferries which leave from the port of Ibiza practically all year round and take approximately 30 minutes.

For those who prefer immediacy and exclusivity in the transfer, we have the “Water Taxi”, small boats specialized in private transfers where you avoid sharing space with other travelers.

For those who are looking for something more luxurious, we have a wide variety of yachts. This type of boat will allow you to stop in the crystal clear waters for a swim, depending on the time you can enjoy an incredible breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, relax while you feel the sea breeze…

Accommodation is another key factor and Formentera offers endless possibilities. From its typical farmhouses to the first and only five-star hotel on the island, which opened in 2019.

Formentera has small villages and depending on what you are looking for, we would recommend one of them.

Here is just a small brief: Es Pujols, one of the best known villages with a lot of life. Es Migjorn, an area with many tourist attractions that has more than 4 kilometers of beach. Es Caló, a small fishing village near La Mola, a pleasant and peaceful place. La Savina is the island’s port and from this location it is only a short distance to the beaches of Illetas and Levante. San Francisco, known for being the capital of the island, has a lot of charm. San Fernando, the most authentic village, located in the middle of the island. El Pilar de la Mola, the quietest village without complementary activities, and the well-known Cap de Barbaria, where you can find luxurious villas and rustic houses with a special touch.

Although it’s a small island, we recommend you book a vehicle to get around.
Our favorite is the bicycle! But if that’s not your thing, you have several options such as motorbikes, quad, electric cars or Meharis, the authentic cars of Formentera.

Now that you know how to get there, where to stay and the importance of having a vehicle to discover incredible places, you still have to discover the rest of the island’s best kept secrets…

For that, you’ll have to check out our next post.

Don´t miss it!
